☾ backstory
> ☾ arashi was born in hokkaido japan to koyuki yamamoto, a sika deer and an unspecified caribou whom arashi has never met. he was born as the last born of triplets, with him being the last of the three. unfortunately for the trio, koyuki had abandoned them to a gray wolf by the name of cygnus, an younger gentleman with not a lot of problems himself but a love for the stars, to which arashi quickly picked up through the years of him living with him.however, after a quick altercation between his mother and cygnus, arashi was forced to leave from his home alongside his sister and brother and exerted back onto the streets of abashiri, hokkaido, where he was made to take farm work at the ages of 12-13. during his time of working, he was taught taekwando after being found brutally beaten and his antler being sharded by the person who employed him. arashi had somewhat adopted the older gentleman as another father figure, although his own verbal abuse was what eventually lead to his own departure after months of torment from the older man.arashi, after obtaining the money he needed to assist his family in their survival and find a home, his brother felt incredibly ill with bovine tuberculosis, and without the medical assistance provided in time, perished in an alleyway near he and his sister. arashi at the time had been more hellbent then ever to leave their world behind and move to the states after receiving enough income to move.in the united states
after moving to baltimore, maryland, arashi went straight to work, just as he had prior. from ages 15-18, he worked as a bartender's assistant under the watchful eye of a colleague who had 'bought' him for extra work. arashi at the time would often be seen at the gym, exercising relentlessly while attending fights. while he often won using his strategic fighting methods through martial arts, he was invited to join a dojo and become apart.while arashi already knew a lot about the fighting techniques provided there, arashi attempted to make good of what he had while working there and it quickly became an outlet for all the misery the young buck felt within his troubled heart. he topped through the ranks and at the age of 21, he became a teacher there.during this time as well, arashi had managed to obtain a flat for he and his sister and had managed to acquaint himself with many friendly faces, that was until the disappearance of his sister.arashi's relationship with his sister had been the closest he had ever had. he was devastated upon finding out and even 3 years after her disappearance, he continues searching for her.little is known about her whereabouts, whether she is dead or alive, and while the assumptions of her demise are still just rumors, he still feels as though she could be out there.
